Presque notre dernière semaine en France…

Almost our last week in France...

The third week (15/10/2018-18/10/2018) we did a lot of things. The beginning of the week we were working at the office, meeting other persons who are working at the iPPEC as a civil service. We were working translating our blog in other languages and Jose was preparing the sessions for the Swimming pool and the session that we were supposed to do with Idris at the school. Clara was translating for me this sessions to French and it was stressing because it's a hard job for us!! At the end Jose couldn't go with Idris because he was stuck in Avignon and we both go to Tatiana's atelier and we met again the children from the last time. We played a lot with them and it was amazing, we're going to miss them!
The next files are from the atelier with Tatiana, in Wednesday morning. We did two different artistic activities and in the break we did a little game outside, but it wasn't like we imagined... :D

It was raining a lot also last week and the conditions in the bidonvilles weren't good, so we couldn't visit as we wanted but we learned a lot of things about that reality. We went to another association that works only on the Bidonville trying to integrate that people into the French society. The president of that association stayed with us all the Thursday afternoon and she explain us lot of things. We were having a discussion about our different points of view, because in that association they have (in our opinion) a reductive point of view about the people who lives in the bidonvilles. We are not saying that they aren't doing a good work, exactly the contrary, they are doing a really GREAT job, but about  what we understood in that meeting is that they are treating all the people in the same way, and in our opinion (at least Jose's one) they have to think about the diversity of different cultures.

Now you can see a real French girl with her two baguettes going to eat. Also you can see the "Risotto alla Mantovana" that Clara cooked for both of us on Friday for the lunch.

About the weekend:

The weekend was so excited, we did a lot of things and we share a lot of time with wonderful persons.  Friday, after the "risotto alla mantovana" we went out with our friends from the residence ( they are from the Mauritius Island, that's incredible!!) We drink some beers with more friends but then, we went to the disco only with the friends who are in the photo! And there something special happened: the dj put "L'aventurier" from Indochine, a French group of the 80s and now Clara isn't able to stop listening to it. We had a really great night, but we went "soon" to the residence because the next day (Saturday) we met with these guys to go to Avignon. Here you can see the photos about our amazing weekend. Also Saturday in the night we went to Gaelle's house to try the "Raclette" that Jose never tried before.
